ABOUT LEONARDO DA VINCI

Picture
Leonardo Da Vinci's (1452-1519) skill set could have single-handedly inspired the modern-day term "Renaissance Man."

His engineering and invention skills alone spanned a variety of projects, including: bridges, flying machines, parachutes, giant cross bows and mechanical robots.

Leonardo's mechanical knight (deemed the world's first android by Guinness Book of World Records) influenced all the Drawmaton machines, but none more directly than The Slayer. Officially known as Automa cavaliere (or, "Automaton Knight"), it's capabilities included moving it's arms, standing, sitting, lifting its visor and even hugging a surprised guest!
